Dyslipidaemia (cardiovascular category)

The term “dyslipidaemia” describes the broader disturbance of the metabolic balance of the lipids and includes disorders of total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL and HDL. Nutrition is a major factor in both treatment and prevention, and the recommendations differ according to which type of lipid is elevated. People with dyslipidaemia should modify their eating habits by limiting their intake of trans and saturated fats and increasing their intake of dietary fibre.

The aim of the Eatsmart team is to shape a personalised nutrition plan based on the type of dyslipidaemia and always in relation to your way of life.
